The pediatric intensive care unit:
A multidisciplinary eighteen bed unit including two isolation rooms.
Care is provided to both patients referred from all sub-specialties of pediatrics and pediatric surgeries, and surgical trauma cases.
The Unit also provides care for post liver and kidney patients
Service is provided by a specialized medical and nursing team.
Nurse to bed ratio 1:2 and could be raised to 1:1 when needed.
High frequency ventilators are available
