Under the patronage of Her Majesty, Queen Rania Al Abdulla, the opening ceremony of the center was on the 31stof August 2000.

The center consists of 4 floors:

• 1. Basement floor
   
• 2. Ground floor. Contains:
   
• Three fully equipped clinics
  
  • Pharmacy
  • Main lobby and patients' waiting area that seats 100 patients.
  • Information and reception desk
  • Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) room.
  • Radiology and Urodynamic Study (UDS) room.
  • Dressing and minor procedures room
  • Surgical operation area that contains:
    o (3) fully equipped operation rooms.
    o Pre-operative area.
    o Post-operative recovery area with 12 beds.
    o (3) Staff changing rooms.
     
• First floor. (Male Surgical) with a capacity of 32 beds:
  
  • 2 suites
  • 4 private rooms
  • 13- 2 bed rooms.
    
     
• Second floor. (Female Surgical) with a capacity of 29 beds:
  • 2 suites
  • 5 private rooms
  • 11- 2 bed rooms.

In addition the second floor contains the office of the "Jordan Society for Organ Donation" and the office of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdulla, Head of the Society.
