The physical Medicine, Rheumatology & Rehabilitation Department at the Rehabilitation Center is the oldest department in Jordan; the department contains four specialties and units
- Spinal unit.
- Rheumatology Rehab unit.
- Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Electromyography unit.
The main work of this department consists of the diagnosis, treatment
and rehabilitation of patients with various rheumatic neurologic(Stroke,TBI) and musculoskeletal disorders as well as management and rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injuries and management and rehabilitation of amputee patients.
The department also provides training for Rehabilitation doctors in Jordan and in regional countries.
