 In line with the mission of the Royal Medical Services, which revolves around continuous development and improvement and the optimal use of available resources through qualified medical personnel and modern technologies, and raising their scientific and practical efficiency, the training office was placed within Trauma Unit; the office is concerned with following up on the training of doctors, nurses and allied medical professionals by holding weekly and monthly lectures (Continuing education ), as well as holding a number of courses according for different specialties under the supervision of the Directorate of Royal Medical Services and the Directorate of Military Training in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces. In addition, applying multi connections inside and outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for finding the best apportions for sending the staff to specialized courses in the field of trauma.


Accredited courses :

1. Principles of trauma for doctors (in coordination with the Department of General Surgery, Orthopedics Department , and Emergency unit):

- Duration: two days

- The attendees receive a certificate from the Trauma Unit after passing all theoretical and practical examinations.


2. Advanced Trauma Care Course for nurses (in coordination with the Directorate of Royal Medical Services) :

- Duration: 18 weeks 

- The included specialties (the length of service does not exceed 10 years)

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 

- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Paramedics

- Attendees undergo a competitive examination before attending the course.

- BLS is mandatory for attending the course.




3. Respiratory Therapy Course (Bachelor/Diploma in Respiratory Therapy) (in coordination with the Directorate of Royal Medical Services) 


- The duration of the course is 12 weeks

- Attendees undergo a competitive examination before attending the course.
