Quality office Established the trauma unit since may of 2023 to develop and monitoring the insurance of quality and safety in trauma unit
• Raising awareness and knowledge of quality and safety among workers, patients, and visitors through the following:
1. Assisting the Quality Development Committee.
2. Disseminating the definition of quality across all departments and public areas.
3. Establishing committees to enhance quality and safety.
4. Holding quality workshops.
• Introducing systems, procedures, and mindsets that need to be changed to improve the level of quality and safety in the hospital through the following:
1. Conducting rounds to assess the situation, identify safety issues, and evaluate services provided to patients, as well as areas needing quality improvement.
2. Reviewing work procedures to ensure they are performed effectively and adequately to meet patient needs.
3. Implementing and documenting an action plan to enhance quality.
Tasks and Duties:
• Developing policies and procedures for quality and safety.
• Following up on the work of the Quality Improvement Committee in the unit according to priorities, and participating in planning and guidance.
• Providing quality publications and periodicals.
• Participating in all relevant committees.
• Participating in staff training on procedures for improving quality.
• The Quality Office is committed to pursuing continuing education to increase knowledge of contemporary practices in quality improvement and risk management.
• Accessing patient information and conducting documentation in patient records.
Our Goal: To collaborate and coordinate with all committees formed within the unit to deliver and provide high-quality healthcare to all, striving to achieve the highest levels of excellence and to successfully complete any excellence program in which the unit participates.
Accreditation Program:
• The VRC (Verification of Trauma Center) by the American College of Surgeons.
• Trauma hospital levels by HCAC.
